International Trade



  • International trade is the exchange of goods and services across borders.
    • Local trade is the exchange of goods and services whiting the same country.
    • A good is something than satisfies a need. A good is tangible. Ejm: Food, clothes, cars, money.
In marketing a product is a bundle of goods and services.
    • A service is something intangible that satisfies need. Ejm: transportation, security, water, gas.
    • Output is an amount of something produced by a person, machine, factory, country, etc.
    • Develop is grow or change into a more advanced, larger or stronger form.
    • Due to is because of.
    • Half is either of the two equal or nearly equal parts that together make up a whole.
    • Ship is a large boat for travelling on water, especially across the sea.
    • Pattern is a particular way in which something is done, organized or happens.
    • Measure is discovering the exact size or amount of something, or to be of a particular size.
    • Impose is to officially force a rule, tax, punishment, etc. to be obeyed or received
    • Draw is to make a picture of something or someone with a pencil or pen
    • Loath is to be unwilling to do something
    • Open is not closed or fastened
    • Agreement is when people have the same opinion, or when they approve of or accept something
    • Amount is a collection or mass especially of something which cannot be counted

    • Commodity a substance or product that can be traded, bought or sold
    • Tend is to be likely to behave in a particular way or have a particular characteristic
    • Flow is to move in one direction, especially continuously and easil

    • Swell is to become larger and rounder than usual; to (cause to) increase in size or amount
    • Driven is describes someone who is so determined to achieve something or be successful that all their behaviour is directed towards this aim

    • Staple is a short thin piece of wire used to fasten sheets of paper together. It has sharp ends which are pushed through the paper and then bent flat by a special device.
    • Impose is to officially force a rule, tax, punishment, etc. to be obeyed or received

    • Restriction is an official limit on something
    • Payments: The difference between the money that a country receives from exportsand the money that it spends on imports
